Atoms are the foundation of every physical thing. These tiny particles are combined to create everything around us. By combining them in different configurations we can build different things, but at their heart they are all the same; pure energy. By displacing a few negative or positive electrons we can transform the atom into a different type of matter. For instance removing two positive electrons from an atom of mercury would transform it into an atom of platinum.

It is the same with business. At the heart of every great business lie the same foundations; the same basic fundamentals that every business must obey. By adding or removing any of the fundamentals you can change a poor business into a successful business, or destroy a seemingly strong business.

Of course there are businesses that are successful, and the owners are completely unaware of these Business Fundamentals, at least consciously. And matter existed before we knew about electrons, atoms and photons. But knowing the basic building blocks gives us greater power to build what we want not by chance but by design.

It therefore follows that if you want to build a great business you can do so by chance or by design. Personally I have never been a great fan of chance alone.  Why not improve your odds by understanding the fundamentals that support any great business? Some of the fundamentals will seem obvious; you may find yourself saying, "Oh, I knew that." It is those fundamentals that you should inspect the closest. Sometimes something is so obvious that we think we must already be doing it, when in actual fact we are not applying it for the maximum impact in our business.

This 7 week course begins slowly, because I know if I gave you too much at once you would become overwhelmed and put it aside for when you have more time. I also know that if you are like most business owners you are very busy.  But being busy will not change unless you begin to do something differently. It is a form of modern madness to think we can change our lives by continuing to do what we have always done. And the first thing you need to do is to step back and decide what it is you should be doing; and why.

One of the most common reasons business owners give me for not using my services straight away is because they don't have time to see me. They normally say things like, "Just let me get through this busy period and then I will have time to apply what I learn." I often chuckle inside when I hear that because I know that the only way they will get more time is if they stop and reassess what they are doing or if their business goes belly up. Then they will have plenty of time to reflect on what went wrong!

I don't want that to happen to you. I want you to apply each weekly session as it arrives and do what it suggests. Please don't wait to collect all seven parts and then just read your way through them; you have to take action each week. The time between doing is just as important as the time spent doing. Your unconscious mind needs to assimilate the knowledge and connect what you learn in this course with what you already know. By the end of seven weeks you will be looking at your business through completely different perspective.

So why am I just giving this to you for free? Well, I am busy. I don't want to spend my time teaching people the basics. My role as a business coach is to show you ways that you can increase your profits in order to have the lifestyle you want. By understanding everything that is in my seven week course we can immediately start working on developing and growing your business. It also means that we can start on a baseline where we can discuss your business using the 18 Business Fundamentals as a framework towards the future.
